Meeting with Client

1.) Your design and layout of your web pages - does it fit your drawing/plan.

To be honest I have not followed my pre-project drawing and plan because I wasn't sure of what iWeb would have to offer. I didn't know if there would be templates or we would all have to start with a blank page. I assumed the that it was gong to be blank but I turned out to be wrong, there are a wide range of templates. For this project I choose the template "Dark Room." It is a very simple and minimalist template. It has a black background and a link bar at the top. Which navigates you around the site.

2.) Your topic and research. What have you done in class?

During class I have been researching my topic and trying to learn how to use iWeb. The topic I am researching is Climate Change and Global Warming. We have been bookmarking useful websites and blogs to help us with our research and later on. then we have been transferring the information and graphics onto our websites.

3.) Color, font and use of multi media

For the titles I have mainly used the "Handwriting" font. I like it because it is very easily read but not boring. I have used the default font for any information and I have kept with the white for information as well. For the title I used a lime green. I have only added one video so far but I plan to add more. I have used a lot of graphics, as I believe that they are worth a lot!

4.) Does it have five pages?
Yes, my website has more than five pages. (7 - not done)

5.) The features of Apple iWeb. What is working. What is not working in the web application.

I have really enjoyed using iWeb as it is very straightforward to use and looks good and is professional. I find it comfortably suits the needs of this project and I would definitely use it again.

6.) So you have an emergency plan? Do you have a reference page?

I do not have an emergency plan yet but I will definitely add one later on in the project. At this point I am trying to get the general information first and then I will pay attention to more details such as the emergency plan.

7.) You must take screenshots of your.... iWeb, Delicous bookmarks and Google Docs.
(I Haven't been using Google Docs because I have referred directly to the websites)

(Please note that the enclosed screen shots are only of the home page and one other page which is still in the editing stages.)
